What makes this Oolong tea so special?

Invigorating and deliciously sweet. A high-grade Oolong tea picked and dipped into Ginseng powder and then hand rolled and dry roasted. This Oolong tea has a taste resembling Tie Guan Yin, but with the sweet and refreshing aroma of ginseng. Our Ginseng Oolong Vitality is produced using superior Oolong tea mixed with ginseng roots, resulting in a healthy drink that nourishes the body and enriches the soul. Researchers at the Suntory Research Centre in Osaka, Japan, found that drinking Oolong tea 15 minutes before eating foods high in carbohydrates reducing some of the fattening effects of carbohydrate intake. Studies show that drinking Oolong during or after a high-cholesterol meal has been shown to lower the intake of fat content in the blood. It is excellent for a dry or sore throat, a wonderful energy-tonic, and a great all around tea. A perfect cup to start the day.

100% Natural Green Food, No Any Artificial or Chemical Additives.

Ingredients: Oolong from Anxi, ginseng

As it is Oolong tea and have properties both of green tea and black tea, we recommend to experience your own method of brewing this tea. Because this particular Oolong is medium fermented and covered with ginseng we suggest to brew it at lower temperature than black tea, but higher than green tea. And it is a guidance only. Best practice is to find your own, favourite way of brewing.

Classic: 2 to 3 grams, 200 mills of water at around 90+ C degrees, 3 to 5 mins depend on preferences. After you have finished brewing, take the leaves out of the cup/teapot – if they remain in the water too long, they start releasing tannins. Tannin makes tea taste bitter, inhibits absorption of magnesium and iron which are necessary for the body to function properly.

Subsequent: 3 to 5 grams of tea, 80 to 100 mills of water around 90+ C degrees, first brewing up to 30 second and each next around 20 sec longer.

All brewing tips is a guidance only. The best is experiment to find own way depend on preferences.

Tea bag: as this leaves required more room to open and fully infuse tea soup we provide this tea just with our Eco-Friendly Single Size one cup tea bag of same Ginseng Oolong Vitality tea.

But still remember: all our teabags are in 100% compostable. Make your own compost.
