Jasmine Dragon Pearl is tea scented with aroma from jasmine blossoms to make one of the most famous scented tea. Most popular and widely known is green based jasmine tea however, white tea and black tea are also used. The flavour of jasmine tea is subtly sweet and highly fragrant. It is the most famous scented tea in China. The jasmine plant is grown at high elevations in the mountains. Jasmine tea produced in the Chinese province of Fujian has the best reputation. Tea leaves for our dragon pearls are harvested by hands in the early spring, tightly rolled and stored until the late summer when fresh jasmine flowers are in bloom. Jasmine flowers are picked early in the day when the small petals are tightly closed. The flowers are kept cool until nightfall. During the night jasmine flowers open, and release their fragrance, and this is when the tea scenting takes place. It takes many hours for the tea to absorb the fragrance and flavour of the jasmine blossoms. Lower quality teas are blended with jasmine flowers and stored overnight.

The scenting process of our pearls was repeated as many as seven times for five hours each time. The tea absorbs moisture from the fresh Jasmine flowers as well, so it must be dried again to prevent spoilage. Jasmin flowers and their aroma is widely known as relaxing agent used by many cultures from ancient times. Join and experience this mystery. Make your afternoon cup, relax and stay happy with your friends and family. Do not forget about some snack. Cake or scone will make perfect afternoon.
